Lightpoint Medical to be acquired by Telix Pharmaceuticals

Australia-based radiopharmaceutical company Telix Pharmaceuticals has entered into an agreement to acquire Lightpoint Medical along with its SENSEI radio-guided surgery business.

Set to be integrated into Telix, Lightpoint Medical will operate as a new surgeon-focused business unit. Moreover, the new unit will support development of other related medical devices and software technologies of Telix. Lightpoint also has artificial intelligence capabilities for surgical guidance, which will complement the AI programme of Telix.
